These clinics will break down familiar asanas (poses) and help participants to understand their function. Participants will receive individual guidance to help make postures more accessible, more productive and more valuable for their unique needs.
“My hips are tight!” This kinesthetic workshop will help participants understand the alignment details for familiar hip openers to make them work and feel better for their unique needs. Through guided movement, we will answer the following questions: What is a hip opener? Why do we do them in yoga? How can I use hip openers to access more mobility without compromising stability? When is it ok to “go deeper” and when is it better to back off? Key poses include (but are not limited to): Warrior 1, Warrior 2, Triangle, Half Pigeon.
