Yoga is much more than a physical practice – it’s a holistic philosophy that offers a comprehensive guide to living a more mindful, purposeful life. The Eight Limbs of Yoga, as outlined by Patanjali in the Yoga Sutras, provide a blueprint for cultivating balance, clarity, and peace, both on and off the mat.
In this transformative 8 week workshop, we’ll delve deep into the Eight Limbs of Yoga, exploring how each limb can support your physical, mental, and spiritual well-being. This isn’t about mastering poses – it’s about understanding the full spectrum of yoga and how it can help you live with greater intention and ease.
Each week, we’ll focus on one of the Eight Limbs, unpacking its principles and discovering how to integrate it into daily life.
Week 1: Yama (Ethics and integrity, and how to conduct yourself in life)
Week 2: Niyama (Inner observances and how you treat your self)
Week 3: Asana (Movement practice)
Week 4: Pranayama (Breath control)
Week 5: Pratyahara (Turning awareness inward to learn more about the body and mind)
Week 6: Dharana (Concentration)
